You can learn a lot about you and your relatives from the common name you share. Your Family Number represents important lessons you chose to learn together. Knowing the nature of your family’s ‘common thread’ can help bring harmony to these relationships, and help heal the wounds incurred simply from being so closely related. This knowledge can also help reduce the risk of inherited disease by understanding the type of stress that the energy of your Family Number produces.
HOW TO CALCULATE FAMILY NUMBERS
First, convert the letters of your family name into numbers, using this standard table:
Example: if your family name is JACKSON, you would add:
1 + 1 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 6 + 5 = 19
Keep adding until you obtain a single number, i.e.
1 + 9 = 10 and 1 + 0 = 1
The JACKSON Family Number is 1.
As always, please be sure to double-check your calculations.
Your biological family name is INHERITED energy. The energy of your father’s name may be stronger (because you use it every day and it forms your outer identity), but you also inherited the energy of your mother’s family number… so be sure to check your maternal name, too.
When you change your family name – in marriage – or for any reason – you essentially change your identity. This is ACQUIRED family energy. Your new name is an additional set of numbers which interact with your inherited family numbers.
If you were ADOPTED, the energy of your biological parents will be there whether you know their family names or not. However, this is often overridden to a large extent by the energy of the adoptive parents, not only because you share their name, but also because they are the ones who most influenced your young life. In most cases, your adoptive parents are your family, but there are exceptions, such as children who were adopted later in life and whose connection to their biological parents remains strong.
