What’s happening now is system-wide karma, the result of our actions, inactions, and misunderstandings playing out in our individual and collective lives. Even if we ignore the sheer horror of what’s happening globally, we will feel the effects anyway, unaware of how our denial of reality reduces our awareness, and holds us back. Denial of reality has been a human problem all along, and right now, we are experiencing an exhausting and demoralizing barrage of lies – and the further denial which results from that. History is what we learn from – it is our karmic mirror.

The “disinformation industry” which includes all forms of propaganda and baseless conspiracy theories, is dispensing poison – and making a fortune at it, too. They appeal to people’s prejudices, fears, and their inability to comprehend complex matters. They weave their deception on the premise that a lie is easier to swallow when it is sandwiched between layers of truth – and on the old nazi tactic of telling a lie so outrageous that people will believe it because they cannot believe anyone would tell a lie so big unless it were true. As the French writer and philosopher, Voltaire, wrote way back in the 1700s: “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.”
The 8 GLOBAL YEAR of 2024 brings us to the end of the FIRST HALF of the 2020s.
The 9 YEAR of 2025 brings us into the beginning of the SECOND HALF.
We are at the BALANCE POINT of this decade.
BALANCE POINTS occur at the center of any cycle, but because the cycle in question runs for 10-years, its impact will have massive long-term outcomes. While the 8 GLOBAL YEAR focuses on the use and abuse of POWER, the 9 GLOBAL YEAR brings conclusions, losses and gains, and the end of an era (the millennial era of the 1000s). But from those endings come the seeds of new beginnings, which will be more visible and navigable in 2026 (a 1 GLOBAL YEAR).
The 9 energy produces deep emotional responses which increase our awareness and push us FORWARD on the evolutionary track – by first taking us BACKWARDS to clarify the misunderstandings and missteps of the past. 9 is the number of EMPATHY, which comes from the mind’s ability to interpret not only one’s own emotions, but also being aware of and sensitive to other people’s feelings and situations. As a human being, lack of empathy is a severe lack of intelligence.
When we focus too narrowly, or lean too far in any direction, we lose sight of what’s happening in other directions, and we lose our sense of perspective. A BALANCE POINT helps us recognize the extent of the great imbalance in which we are trying to exist, and make the necessary adjustments to stabilize ourselves.
This involves our emotional realities as much as the mental and physical. In order to survive, we must let go of (heal) the old emotional energy that has been buried inside us for lifetimes – and generations. This will create openings for new and better conditions to enter. A BALANCE POINT is a point of discovery, exposure, and correction, which lets us get to the HEART of any matter. The heart of anything is its center. The heart is where everything meets.
In this karmic week, here’s a little karmic wisdom from the heart of Willie Nelson. He said:
“Cruelty is all out of ignorance. If you knew what was in store for you, you wouldn’t hurt anybody, because whatever you do comes back much more forceful than you send it out”.
We are in the hands of incompetent people who do not understand the dire realities which they themselves have created. They employ the antiquated tactics of FORCE, WAR, CRUELTY, and never-ending PAIN and ATROCITY, and are unable to comprehend peace through DIPLOMACY, FAIRNESS, COOPERATION, and EQUALITY.
POWER is not meant to be used to control people. It is meant to empower people to BE who we really are, and evolve into who we can become. The abuse of power is a tactic of un-evolved 8 – the bully, manipulator, and ignoramus.
6 represents RESPONSIBILITY, and PROBLEM SOLVING, which requires an accurate understanding of whatever we’re dealing with, along with competence, determination, the desire to learn, and the WILL to find solutions. 42/6 brings out our maturity, awareness, and dedication, (as well as our immaturity, ignorance, and indifference).
42/6 can have a roller coaster effect. Just when we think all is lost, something happens to restore our confidence. And then, just as we think things are beginning to settle down, instability and uncertainty suddenly regain their grip. This is an up-and-down energy.
In 42/6 energy, what seems like a disadvantage often reveals alternatives that can bring some order to the chaos. This erratic week will show us that a problem cannot be solved until it is FACED, especially if it involves, families, home, children, domestic issues, security, justice and injustice, education, health, institutions, and wanting to control others.
6 = TRADITION, which, by definition, is reluctant to change anything at all. At one end of 6, we have the nurturing, loving, responsible parent; and at the other end is the selfish, ego-driven, narcissistic, tyrant. BALANCE and EXTREMES.
NOTE 2: Your weekly forecast repeats as a daily forecast on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17. This repetition occurs when the month and day add up to 9 (1+0+1+7 = 9). On these ‘double dose’ days, circumstances, memories, and old feelings resurface. 9 represents endings and letting go of the past. This is a time of drama, completion, and accepting reality.
